About Us

Now celebrating its 50th year, this event has been a proud tradition in Central Pennsylvania basketball since its founding in 1976. What began with standout players like Ken Richter of Hershey and Jim Rowe of Cedar Cliff has grown into a showcase of the region’s exceptional high school talent.

Each year, the event highlights the best boys and girls basketball players from across Central Pennsylvania, bringing together athletes, families, and fans to celebrate the culmination of their high school careers.

Beyond the competition, the event is committed to supporting student-athletes off the court as well. Scholarship donations are awarded annually to one boys participant and one girls participant, recognizing excellence both in athletics and academics.

Fans can also enjoy exciting halftime entertainment. The Girls Game features a Three-Point Contest, while the 8:30 PM Boys Game includes the event’s famous Slam Dunk Contest, a crowd-favorite tradition.

For five decades, this event has celebrated talent, community, and opportunity, and it continues to honor the next generation of Central Pennsylvania basketball stars.
